Vegan Brownie Recipe


This is our go-to vegan brownie recipe, perfect for the festive period if you fancy something different to a classic Christmas pudding. Ingredients 200ml plant based milk 100ml vegetable oil 175g self raising flour 150g light brown sugar 50g cocoa powder 250g dark chocolate 1stp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt 200g dark chocolate cut into chunks (optional) Method 1. Star by preheating your oven to 180C/160C Fan and line a 9x9 square tin with grease proof paper. 2. Melt 250g dark chocolate until smooth. 3. Pour in the milk, oil and vanilla and stir until you have a smooth consistency.

4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and salt in a separate bowl. 5. Next, add the dry mix to the liquid mix and combine until smooth, be careful not to over mix. 6. If you're using chocolate chunks, fold these into the mixture. 7. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked. 8. Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to fully cool.

You can try adding extra ingredient to this recipe, like pistachios, almonds or raspberries!
