Vegan Apple Oat Crumble Recipe



This healthy apple oat crumble is such a crowd pleaser and is so quick and easy to make. What we love about this recipe is you can change up the ingredients to suit your taste, how about swapping the walnuts for almonds or maple syrup for golden syrup!


Apple filling 2-3 apples (cut into bite sized chunks) 2 tbsp cornstarch 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg Oat crumb 80g oats 30g walnuts (chopped) 1 tsp ground cinnamon 3 tbsp maple syrup 1 ½ tsp coconut oil (melted) Method Preheat the oven to 180c, coat a casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray or butter. You can even use individual ramekins like the photo above.

1. In a mixing bowl combine together the oats, walnuts, cinnamon, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Use your fingers to stir until it resembles a crumble.

2. In another bowl, mix the chopped apples with cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg, until evenly coated.

3. Transfer the filling to the prepared dish, and gently press down with a spatula. Sprinkle the oat crumble evenly over the topping.

4. Bake at 180c for 25-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the top is crisp. Let us know if you make this delicious apple oat crumble by tagging us in your photos!
